Just ordered a CF sleave from amazon.  They have them in stock along
with serial cradle/cables.  I got a serial cable at a local
RadioShack.com store (they're an official compaq dealer, believe it or
not).

I tried following direction on handhelds.org showing how to make a
serial cable, but things got too small over the past few years.  I guess
the USB cradle has empty pins on it for the serial cable, so you can
make a dual cradle, but my solder's diameter was twice the width of one
of the pins! :)  I gave up after wasting an evening.  Anyway, goodnight.
