[bt-devel] Problem compiling Bibletime from CVS (and the workaround...)

Hello, Everyone
I first noticed this a few months ago, but now I am FINALLY getting
around to mentioning it.
I first discovered this issue when compiling Bibletime from CVS. The
first error that "make" would bail on looked (and still looks) like
this:

In file included from bt_gbfhtml.cpp:17:
bt_gbfhtml.h:19:25: error: cfiltertool.h: No such file or directory

I checked my checkout of the Bibletime code, and sure enough, there was
no cfiltertool.h file to be found. So I browsed the CVS tree to the
following location:
http://bibletime.cvs.sourceforge.net/bibletime/bibletime/bibletime/backend/

As you already know, the file doesn't exist there anymore, either. I
saw this link in the above referred to directory:

(Show 20 dead files)
http://bibletime.cvs.sourceforge.net/bibletime/bibletime/bibletime/backend/?hideattic=0

Of course, this showed me that the "offending" file was dead. Okay, no
problem. I opened the file referred to in the above quoted error
message:

bibletime/bibletime/backend/bt_gbfhtml.h

In that file, I found these lines:
//Backend
#include "cfiltertool.h"

To make a long story short, I found those (or VERY similar) line(s) in
the following files:
bibletime/bibletime/backend/bt_gbfhtml.h
bibletime/bibletime/backend/bt_osishtml.h
bibletime/bibletime/backend/bt_plainhtml.h
bibletime/bibletime/backend/bt_thmlhtml.h

Of course, when I delete the appropriate lines in the above four files,
then Bibletime compiles perfectly. In fact, I'm going to try it again
right now... While I wait, I must mention that I have had the above
workaround work on every occasion that I have tried it (at least two or
three times with completely fresh downloads of Bibletime from CVS in
each case) If Bibletime won't compile this time, I trust that it is a
different issue :)

Well, Bibletime made it past the error messages like the one quoted
above. Since I need to move on and get to bed, I will just trust that
Bibletime will compile for me. If it bails for a different reason,
I'll let you know.
