  You may want to try texstar's RPM's at pclinuxonline.com. I'm running his 
KDE3 RPM's these days (which are based on KDE CVS tagged for KDE 3.0.1), and 
they work a bit better then the original MDK RPM's (they are meant for 
Mandrake so you don't loose any functionality, btw).
