Summary: Interlinear Display?

Initial Comment:
This is really out there, but while I was doing background on what 'for pay' bible study programs are charging, I saw a 'interlinear' listed in the works provided.

Which got me to thinking....

Is it possible to put together an interlinear display based on Strongs #'s for 2 versions....

(psuedo logic)

For each Strong's reference in the verse of the primary version, display the word(s) then search the diaglott version for the same verse /same strongs # and display the text within the strongs reference, regardless of word order for the 2nd version.

brainstorms on this idea:

<>Depending on how often you get no matches, if the verse is over XX% (50%?) non-matching, show the matches on one row, then show the whole 2nd version verse in it's entirety below that with an offset background color. Or just show the whole 2nd verse in it's original order if you don't get X% matching (with the offset colors, or a combination of both (like do both for 30%-75% matching, but don't even bother below 30%.

<>If this works, it may be possible to have more than 2 versions displayed 'interlinear'...

<>may want to have some ghost grid blocking what's matched to what if there is any confusion due to font squeezing....

I agree. This would be a very nice feature.
