What's the deadline? I see he mentions the end of this week as a
deadline for at least saying we're taking responsibility, but when do
we have to have it done?

As Karl mentions, we've made a lot of progress, and really should be
done soon. Actually, webkit is pretty much done, we're currently
getting GTK3 compatibility.
