For those of you interested...

wxSword is beginning to work (sorry Windows only at the moment).

If you already have sword modules on your system and have SWORD_PATH set 
or have the modules in the default location you could check the current 
version available @ www.wxsword.com/wxSwordUpgradeIS.exe

A version including some Bible modules is available via www.wxsword.com 
or www.wxsword.com/wxSwordIS.exe

Remember that this is an in-development program!!!

Any comments, suggestions, bug reports, kudo's etc are welcome.
