[sword-devel] Crosswire Wiki fails + Translation Services offered (English -> Dutch)

Hi Gertjan,

I just finished the translations for website, GUI and handbook for BibleTime a
day or two ago. It is not perfect and I also made some choices I doubt are
optimal. But I could look at the Gnome tanslation to get some consistency.
The GUI translations is included in package bibletime-i18n (something I learnt
while translating ;-) ), so that's why it's not yet available on your
computer.

I haven't worked with SVN before, I will contact you if I need help. I guess
it's better to use it, because I already noticed some differences between the
online BibleTime website translation and the one on my HD (though they are
supposed to be the same?).
Please add my SF-account: JohanLingen

Does anyone know whether it is possible to take translation to a higher level?
I.e. GnomeSword and BibleTime now have a separate translation file, while
they should look almost similar! Imagine what the gain would be if one GUI
translation depended on the other: we would only have to make one Handbook
per language! (and even de handbook should rely on some strings of the GUI
translation, same with the websites).
It would make translating a bit more complicated, but I see great benefits.

Greetings Johan
