It seems that the next thing we need to do is to get a real version of
the Bible encoded using the current strategy. I am still not clear on
how we handle/encode the cases where the overlapping hierarchies exist.
(Particularly when there are more than two overlapping.) Even in the
case where there are just two overlapping hierarchies, I am not sure
EXACTLY how to encode.

I am attempting to encode Matthew 13 from the TEV. It seemed good to me
for the reasons noted below.

Is anyone willing to produce an EXAMPLE of the currently proposed
reference syntax in its various forms?

Here are the trouble spots in Matthew 13.
Paragraphs with verses not fully contained.
Paragraph 13.1-13.3 (partial)
Paragraph 13.3(partial)-13.8
Paragraph 13.11-13.14 (partial)
BlockQuote 13.14 (partial)-13.15 (Also a lineGroup with lines within the
blockQuote with several lines in one verse and and one line in part of a
verse that starts in a different lineGroup and blockQuote and )
Paragraph 13.34-13.35 (partial)
BlockQuote 13.35(partial) (Also with lineGroup and line)
Paragraph 13.51 (partial)
Paragraph 13.51 (partial)

I hope to have a Matthew 13 out tomorrow or Saturday. If I don't you
may see few posts regarding problems I ran into.

I have attached Matthew 13 in the pre-Rome format as a reference.

Todd
