[mobile-devel] And-Bible Notes function

Hi Martin,

I am presently running and-bible 0.0.15, which, for the first time since
beginning to use and-bible, I installed via the android Market. I like it's
speed and responsiveness in general browsing. You've done a great job with
it.

I am asking about the notes function. When you hit the "Menu" button, an
option is there for "Notes", however, when you select, there is nothing,
only a "Verse * No notes exist in this verse."

What is the main purpose of this function. Is there a module that provides
notes? And is there a way to add my own notes to a given verse?

Also, I don't know whether you are familiar with the iOS app, Mantis Bible?
One thing I really like about the app (although I prefer to use Sword
project's apps, overall :) ), is their notes function, available for each
verse. You can just tap the verse number and add notes directly. The verse
then shows a little music note next to the verse number, so that when you
are reading, you can see that you have previously added a note to that
verse. There is also a UI component that, when tapped, shows a list of all
the notes you have added.

Perhaps you did not have this kind of idea in mind with the notes function.
That's fine, of course, but I am curious as to whether a similar
implementation would be possible in and-bible in the future...

Thanks,
Matthew
