I think much of this can be accomplished via a Ichthux+somethingelse
cross, rather than maintaining our own.  Thus, for a desktop system
you would start with the debian-desktop CDD's choices, and only add
Ichthux-specific things on top of that.

Unfortunately, I don't see any signs of life in the debian-desktop
project.  But regardless, that's how I would do it.
