This is a well-known UI system, used in a number of other applications
already, I don't see a problem with it. Also, in my experience of users and
usability, the majority of new users will use the application as they find
it the first time.

I contribute to a number of other open source applications, and some of
them also have the same docking system, and users have requested _more
advanced_ docking (or floating view window) capabilities. I would think
then that the docking system that BibleTime has is fairly well known and
understood.

Thank you for your comments and your concern though, they are duly noted.
I am busy brainstorming on how to improve the BT UI, and your comments are
being taken into consideration.
