[bt-devel] about the alpha release...

Jeremy told that data migration is ready. It would be nice to fix all
known crashes before the release but this is only alpha after all. Who
can build a binary package which can be installed without development
tools? That is the next and final step.

I have been working with the keychooser code. Fixing one bug revealed
another and after some struggling I decided to write my own
implementation of the history feature. It is not strictly necessary but
I got tired with trying to figure out the enigmatic code written by
others (or the bugs introduced by the KDE/Qt3/4 differences). I'll
commit my version when it is ready if I feel it's simpler
and more robust than the current one.

This weekend we have an Alpha course "weekend away"
(http://alpha.org/home) and I won't be at my computer.
