Hello, all and thanks for the attention being paid to this issue. Those
are two separate bugs.  There is an open bug where edits to existing
comments are not saved on 64 bit systems.  That is a different problem.

The problem here is simply truncation in display.  The long comment does
exist in the database and is viewable in the edit window.  However, the
display window truncates the comment.  The sample comment I submitted
was entered months ago but still does not display fully - John
