Summary: Finding not all results in books

Initial Comment:
I have WEB and Pilgrim opened, and search with Ctrl+O
(search in all open works) for the word 'Slough', which
appears only in Pilgrim.
The result is only one hit in Pilgrim/Contents
although when using Ctrl+F for finding for 'Slough' in
'THE FIRST STAGE' gives 15 hits.
I first thought that this is a bug related to 1466310
Search results problems
(http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1466310&group_id=954&atid=100954):
Testing out, what happens, when searching for words,
which appear more frequent than in five consecutive
verses (e.g. 'the' in Matthew) the Search is not working.
But I found out, that it is the same problem, when
searching (Ctrl+O) for 'weakness' in Pilgrim, which
occurs 3x the first time in 'THE FIRST STAGE' and is
not found at all.
I checked it out, and it does not work in GerAugustinus
either (Wohlgeruche in 13/15 not found, also Rätsel in
the same chapter.

Yes of course, if it is ok for you. =) If this is not the
reason, you can reinstall it at some later point -- for now
I only want to make sure that the older sword library
cannot get in the way.
If it does not help, please remove
/usr/local/lib/*sword*
/usr/local/include/sword/
to make sure that no other older sword files are making you
any trouble. Then recompile and reinstall sword-1.5.9.
HTH, mg

This also happens if I try to navigate Pilgrim.

Checking with Synaptic: libsword5 is not installed.
When removing libsword5c2a, gnomesword will be removed too.
Is this OK?

Hi Wolfgang. Very strange, it works for me. Can you please
make sure the old sword is completely off your computer,
not only libsword-dev as I told you?
Please also uninstall libsword5c2a and libsword5, and try
again. Does this also happen when you read Pilgrim, or only
when searching?
Thanks, mg

Somehow lost most of my works (also Pilgrim which I want to
test), installed Pilgrim again, then made a search (Ctl+O)
for 'slough' in Pilgrim.
Starting the Search, BT made an index for Pilgrim: OK.
Then is showed the seven parts, where it found results: OK.
Clicking on /PART 1/THE FIRST STAGE, BT exits and the Crash
Handler tells me:

It seems to work for me. In pilgrim, searching for "slough", I get hits in

/CONTENTS
/PART I/THE FIRST STAGE
/PART I/THE SECOND STAGE
/PART I/THE FIFTH STAGE
/PART II/THE FIRST STAGE
/PART II/THE SIXTH STAGE
/PART II/THE EIGHTH STAGE

And I can also find all other words you listed.

Please try to delete your indices (using the bookshelf manager) and re-creating them (just execute a search).

I checked in BT 1.6 with work (English book) Pilgrim
searching for 'slough' (only Pilgrim open): Using Ctrl+F
- in Part 1 it gives 15 hits
- in Part 2 it gives 7 hits.
But searching with Ctrl-O it gives only 1 hit (in Content)

It seems to work in CVS, maybe clucene 0.9.12 contains bug fixes for that. Please try it out after the next beta is released.

1.6Beta2: It works better than before.
On the other hand: Checking out again with Pilgrim for
Christian (I also tried CHRISTIAN) does not find this word
in PART I / THE FIRST STAGE

Beta2 contains some fixes in the indexing, please check out
if this problem still persists in that version.
