Hi Barry,
which version of BibleTime do you use? BibleTime 1.5.3 works with the German 
unlocked Bible module. Afaik previously released version had problems showing 
locked modules.

As Greg suggested, the cipher key issue might be related to BibleTime's cache, 
which is .kde/share/config/bibletimerc and .kde/share/apps/bibletime. Try to 
remove those files/dirs and try again. If it still doesn't work, please mail 
again.
