Hi!

Let's start from scratch and see how we can get it working for you.
First I'd suggest to get Sword the 1.5.5 sources from 
www.crosswire.org/sword/.

Compile Sword with
./usrinst.sh
make
make install
make install_config

Then get the bibletime-1.2.2.tar.gz source file and install it with

./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

If something doesn't work please send me the config.log file and the output of 
configure.
