RH 7.3 is shipping w/ KDE3 default ( second to gnome of course ;) ). The 
do have KDE2/KDE1 compat libs, but i don't know what those do.  There 
are no other KDE2 packages in RH 7.3.  7.3 was released about a week 
ago, but I haven't had a chance to dl/install it yet.

I also believe reading that the latest SuSE version is shipping KDE3, 
but am not familiar with that distro.
