Hm, maybe you tried to open the XML files as normal files?
KDE uses the help:/ protocoll to render tha pages correctly.

KHelpcenter renders the pages using the help./ protocoll. But you're right, 
BibleTime didn't show up in the list of applications within KHelpcenter.
I forgot to add the documentation path to bibletimes bibletime.desktop files.
Please install BibleTime again on your system (using up-to-date CVS) and 
remove the HTML files from $KDEDIR/share/doc/HTML/en/bibletime/ and copy the 
docboo files into this dir. doccbook.index hs to be present there.
