It almost works now, following a fresh update I ran the script,
gen_am.sh, followed by

export QTDIR=/lib
export KDEDIR=/
export PATH=$KDEDIR/bin:$PATH
make -f Makefile.cvs
./configure
make

after make, there was a problem.

[fks00@localhost bibletime-doc]$ make
Makefile:274: *** missing separator. Stop.
[fks00@localhost bibletime-doc]$

probably a typo in the script i guess?

This is a good streightforward way to regenerate the makefiles.

Thanks

II Chronicles 7:14 (The Webster Bible)
If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I
hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Luther Bible

oraren, y buscaren mi rostro, y se convirtieren de sus malos caminos;
tierra.
