There are three ways to affect the font. Two settings are in options/ 
preferences (Tools->Options ) and one is in Tools -> Books.
In preferences, you can set the font for the application, giving the  
font name, the font size and the style. This requires restarting Bible  
Desktop and is very useful for making the application more readable on  
large monitors.

Also in preferences, you can set a default font for the Bible Display.  
This actually affects the display of all books.

The third way, that should be in the manual, but isn't, is to set the  
font on the language or the book itself. In Tools->Books, click on the  
"Installed Books" and drill down to the language or Book. When you do,  
the Font... button becomes active. Clicking on it will let you set the  
font.
