Hi, Gary. I did the forced reinstall and rebooted. Alas, it is still
mostly the same. I find it locks as soon as I click on a verse number.
If I toggle the display verse numbers on and off, the screen remains
frozen but, every once in a while will jump alive until the next time I
click on a verse number.

It does not appear to be time related, i.e., if I let it sit for a long
time, it does not unlock. It may be related to the number of toggles
but I've not been able to firmly establish that. I don't know if it
somehow has to absorb a mouse click event. Whatever it is, I still see
the same behavior.

Any further suggestions? Thanks - John
