After some fixes and otherwise silent acception I have put the
announcement to the Release announcements page. Thomas, you can write a
piece of news. It's still open for editing.

We have to redesign the Download web page. For example:

1. Windows
2. Linux/Unix
2.1 Ubuntu
2.2 Debian
2.3 FreeBSD
...
