Initial Comment:
When you try to setup parallel lexicons (BDB, and 
StrongsHebrew for example) bt 1.3beta2 locks up and 
must be killed manually (killall bibletime or xkill) and 
restarted.

Please check the next beta we'll release. It's now really a
lot faster!
Should be fast enough for slower systems.

The lag time is still noticable on my p3 667. Top reports 
bibletime as eating 60-95% of my cpu while opening parallel 
lexicons. I can give more statistics if it will help. (Might just 
be that it's more processor intensive than I assumed it was)

Ah yes. I see that now. top reports that it eats like 40% of my 
cpu's resources, so that's probably why.

it does not lock up for me in this situation, though it takes quite 
a while to load those two for some reason. We should look into 
making this faster. I guess its the key merging, not sure though.
