[bt-devel] Next beta? (Re: compiling 1.7 on Kubuntu 8.10)

Tom,

I added those options to the usrinst.sh. So, to eliminate other 
variables, I reinstalled using the configure options as you have them 
below, and then I tried to install 1.7. Here is the output:

I hadn't seen this error before. It appeared after I copied the sword.pc 
over to where you told me to copy it, but it seems unrelated to me.
