Summary: wrong encoding when saving Greek etc. to normal text

Initial Comment:
I have BT 1.5.3 on KDE 3.5.1 from Debian unstable. I
used in the Bible display window the function "Save
as -> Chapter as normal text" with the Textus
Receptus module. The result was as follows:

Matthäus 11:1:
??? ??????? ??? ???????? ? ?????? ????????? ???? ?????? ???????? ????? ?????? ??????? ??? ????????? ??? ????????? ?? ???? ??????? ?????
Matthäus 11:2:
? ?? ??????? ??????? ?? ?? ?????????? ?? ???? ??? ??????? ?????? ??? ??? ??????? ?????
Matthäus 11:3:
????? ???? ?? ?? ? ????????? ? ?????? ???????????
[...]

The German umlauts in the book names lead me to the
fact that the encoding is ISO 8859-1. But to display
the Greek text UTF-8 or something is needed.

Following the procedure with WHNU I could reproduce this,
with BT 1.5.3 however. (I confirmed with khexedit that
there are just literal question marks in the text, no
dieplay problems.) I will try 1.6beta1 as soon as I have
time and reopen if necessary. Thanks for looking into this.

I cannot reproduce this. To test, I opened the module WHNU and exported Matthew 1 with Save->Save as plain text. When I open this text file with Kate in UTF-8 mode, it displays fine.
Maybe you have the wrong font for your editor, or selected the wrong encoding?

I used 1.6beta1.
