I've spent considerable time trying to build on RH 6.2 and then 7.0,
but without success.  I switched at the time to Mandrake 8.0 and
never looked back.  Mandrake 8.0 actually became our desktop standard
distribution at our company, with RH on our server/gateway appliances.
