I installed newest Mesa 3.3 and that did not fix the problem.  It looks
like the configure test is looking for a method called
'glXCreateGLXPixmapMESA'

Don't know who this is from, but if it's from Mesa, we have other
problems cuz the compile line to build this does not -lGL, so I'm
guessing it is an extension in Qt.  I have whatever 2.2.0 qt is included
in the latest rpm directory for the KDE 2.0BETA5.  I guess it is lacking
this function.

Next step is to try KDE2 distributed with RedHat 7.0.  I'm about to
install it on my work laptop as a test.

I'll keep ya posted.
