      Description

When you scroll, the active verse number at the top bar is updated when you release the finger.
It could be nice if it is updated as you have the finger down and is dragging.
now you can basically drag it quite a bit and it may be a few verses off.
I tend to look at the number when i drag.
if i wanted to open a certain verse number in the same chapter i might drag until i see the rigt number in the top bar.

There is a JavaScript method that is meant to do this but it doesn't currently work on the iPhone (at least, when I tried using it in November). Instead I had to hack a method to work & this is what I came up with. It works, but simply doesn't update while you're still scrolling.

If you want to jump to a specific verse number, you can always tap on the ref title & select the verse number there? Especially useful in getting to high verse numbers in chapters like Psalm 119!

let me know what you think?

I could have a look at it if you want, i have been coding JavaScript for the iPhone at work. It's what I do. For web apps though.
Since the iPhone doesn't have a mouse the mouse related javascript handers are a little different. But it is adaptable.

If this is still important, please let me know. If you can provide sample code, I can go ahead with this, otherwise I'm not going to work on this...

ok, so this was required for something else, so I took a look into it and with the newer devices this is possible – older devices caused massive lag

So, this will be available in v1.4.5 due for release at some point soon.
