UKJV module - broken link to original source text URL

    Details

      Description

The original URL in the ukjv.conf file is now a dead ringer.

Michael Johnson has discovered this one instead.

      http://www.creationism.org/BibleUKJV/

As well as updating the conf file, it may be worth while capturing the full Bible text from this site, and remaking the UKJV module from scratch, just in case there have been any textual changes since June 2004.

Yes - it's that long since the module was released.

We absolutely do not and shall not "correct" source attribution links that go dead. That is bad scholarship and dishonest source attribution. If anyone needs the original, they can use Internet Archive.

We also will definitely not be using creationism.org's copy of the text, which simply cites Geocities as its source and does not pretend to be updated with respect to the original. I don't know whether or not it has been changed from the original, but there is literally no valid reason to care or use their source. I'll check whether there have been any updates at the source site and issue an update if necessary, but the suggestions in this bug report are otherwise rejected.

There are some corrections in the latest version, but also quite a few regressions. I'll try to capture the former and eliminate the latter.
