[xiphos-users] xiphos crashes when I open the edit window on a personal commentary view

I have been using version 3.1.5 without a problem except that the clipboard doesn't get cleared for multiple copy-paste operations. I just upgraded to 4.0.4 and now Xiphos crashes if I try invoke the editor. Would appreciate it if someone has an idea of what is wrong. I am going back to 3.1.5 for now.
I am running on Windows 10 version 1607 on a Dell XPS laptop.
