Thanks, John Miller -- Sent via Thunderbird Running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS From jarthurmiller at yahoo.com Thu Aug 4 14:24:28 2016 From: jarthurmiller at yahoo.com (John Miller) Date: Thu, 4 Aug 2016 16:24:28 -0500 Subject: [xiphos-users] Prayer List/Journal Message-ID: <1aebc350-b2ee-e824-b0c2-1ef45284f087@yahoo.com> For reasons totally unknown to me, I no longer see "Open in Editor" in the context menu when I right-click on a prayer list/journal module name. The choices are "Open in New Tab" "Open in Separate Window" and "About". This problem seems to have arisen after I manually edited a couple of the Prayer List/Journal module names. I renamed my .xiphos and .sword folders and did a complete purge of Xiphos (deleting the newly-created .xiphos and .sword folders). When I re-installed, still no joy. Help!! Thanks, John Miller P.S. I sent a follow-up to the list that modules open with the proper editor (not Studypad) when clicking on the Book View, but only on my Xiphos install on Ubuntu 14.04. No matter where I right-click on Xiphos in Ubuntu 16.04, the Studypad editor comes up. John On 08/05/2016 08:40 AM, E Metsger wrote: > Hi, John. Hi, John. Not a user of this feature, really, but you may be able to make this work by going to Edit > Preferences > Options and checking the "Enable Prayer Lists" checkbox. This adds the File > New Prayer List/Journal menu. I have also recently upgraded to Xubuntu 16.04 (long story, but it turns out power management for my T440s wasn't very well supported in 14.04, and when you're installing packages it's a terrible terrible idea to suspend your computer).
