<p>You should simply need to parse the verse reference and then

<p>using the SWORD library, how can I turn an osis reference
          that describes a range of verses like "<span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: "dejavu sans mono", monospace; font-size: 11px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: pre-wrap; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important; float: none;">Gal.1.15-Gal.1.16</span>"

My use case is that I encountered this kind of reference in a
cross reference used in the NASB module in Galations 1:1. When
loading verses based on this reference I'm also loading
additional meta information (user notes, tags, etc.) for each
verse and for that I need to break down this range into a list
          of individual verse references first.<br>
