Hey Karl, the examples folder wasn't meant to build with the library. I'm surprised there is. Flag that includes building with the library build. The Makefiles in those folders are as much examples as the source.

I did change the tasks/ Makefile to build either way. The downside is that it's not as concise of a Makefile example how to build against an installed libsword.

It does seem surprising that some of the examples build against an installed libsword instead of the source but we wanted to give those Makefiles to show how. I hope that explains.
