[sword-devel] problem in libsword in indexing Genesis?

Dear All,
Now it is clear what happens.

The issue is related to localized book names in the [Text] section of the
locales.d/*.conf files.

Currently, it seems the problem occurs only if a book name ends with " I".
This occurs in two files at the moment: in hu-utf8.conf and la-utf8.conf
(Hungarian and Latin):

$ *grep " I$" *-utf8.conf*
hu-utf8.conf: Genesis=Mózes I
la-utf8.conf:I Corinthians=Ad Corinthios I
la-utf8.conf:I Thessalonians=Ad Thessalonicenses I
la-utf8.conf:I Timothy=Ad Timotheum I
la-utf8.conf:I Peter=Petri I
la-utf8.conf:I John=Iohannis I

If the locale is set to either "la" or "hu" by using e.g.
CSwordBibleModuleInfo::swordModule().getKey()->setLocale("hu"), the book
names ending with an " I" cannot be correctly displayed. In BibleTime,
nothing is shown from that book. In Xiphos, only the first chapter is
shown. Diatheke is not affected.

Maybe you have a quick idea why this happens. I will try to look a bit
deeper in the SWORD code soon.

Formerly, there was no problem with the Hungarian locale because Genesis
was translated as "1. Mózes" in the previous version of the locale. (It was
encoded in latin1 that time. The old file is still available in the source
code as hu.conf.)

Best, Zoltan
