FWIW.  I made a bespoke TextPipe filter for converting (Biblical text) from
VPL to IMP.

Some of my TextPipe filters are listed in

TextPipe is for Windows only, and is not a free program.

Many tasks that one can do easily with TextPipe can usually be readily
tackled by Linux users with grep.
