There also was a "Permission denied" for swordweb.
I've seen that those files, in fact all webapps are owned by a user  
not "tomcat".
Although they have the read flag for "other" the owner is not tomcat  
nor is tomcat in the users's group.
Maybe for some reason tomcat need write rights.
