Most of that information will be found in the
developer's<http://www.crosswire.org/sword/develop/>section of the
webiste.  You will want to pay special attention to the
treatment of ThML and OSIS - two of the main ways.  Whether or not either of
those is acceptable for your usage will depend on what type of module you
are planning to create.
