[sword-devel] New Windows SWORD GUIHi Simon,

I'd be interested in participating in your project, and perhaps putting =
in my 2 alt-155 worth at least during the planning stages. I think there =
might be very positive coordination opportunities between LcdBible, =
BerBible, BereanScriptures, and your endeavors. One of the objectives of =
the BeranScriptures project is to have a much simpler user interface so =
that newbie sword volunteers could be Eph 4:11-13 equipped to pitch in =
and help with "The Show" (sword-api, BibleCS, and/or your project).

Have you contacted Costas S, author of the Delphi "The Word"? He might =
be interested in contributing his thoughts on why he did the things he =
did. I believe his main concerns are about his use of non-GPL widgets =
that would be problematic to use with sword-api. His "The Word" program =
might serve as a useful starting point to "reverse engineer" using GPL =
componets such as wxWidget and/or the latest CBuilderX clx =
cross-platform library. I have found him to be very open and =
communicative and not concerned about being a "competitor" to other =
Bible software "brands".
