Gentlemen,

may I take the courage to remind you that there are several open bugs at 
sourceforge 
(http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=109516&group_id=9516&func=browse) which 
should probably be looked at before the 1.5.3 release, though most of them 
may already be solved or outdated. These bugs should be replied to and 
closed, if no further action is required. I feel unable to do this because 
they deal with matters that are not so familiar to me.
