Package: sword
Severity: serious

This package fails to build on sparc. It looks to me like this program
is making a bad assumption that BIGENDIAN == Solaris or MacOS. It
needs
to not do that. It should check for __linux__ being defined, and use the
normal byteswapping routines.

The file affected is src/modules/common/rawstr.cpp. Check the ifdef's
for BIGENDIAN. Note the le* functions are not defined and the
sys/pctypes.h header is only on Solaris.
