<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">If SWORD cannot handle the former, but can handle the latter, then the module needs to be rebuilt. If SWORD cannot handle the latter then SWORD needs to be changed.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Prior to to March 2009 it was ugly. osis2mod would re-order titles and other interverse module content to create a single title element between verses and mark that x-preverse.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">March 2009 the change to have preverse divs. Simplifying, it put everything between one verse end and the next verse start in a preverse div as given above, without reordering any of it.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Oct 2010, it was partially rolled back, requiring module writers to specially mark titles in their OSIS files. That is, required a module writer to know how to create interverse content in a way that would be prepended to the desired verse and how to create it such that it would work as desired in a frontend.</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Nov 2011, the Oct 2010 change was reverted.</p>
