Dear team,

In an effort to finally begin moving email to the RHEL7 server, I have
installed and configured (hopefully, reasonably well) postfix, dovecots,
and procmail on our host.

I have started an experiment with my mail.  If you use crosswire for
your mail, you can try the same.  These are the commands I used to
migrate my mail from guest to host:

ssh scribe at host.crosswire.org

rsync -a --progress scribe at crosswire.org:.procmailrc .
rsync -a --progress scribe at crosswire.org:Procmail .
rsync -a --progress scribe at crosswire.org:mail .
rsync -a --progress scribe at crosswire.org:.forward .

then on guest, change your forward file to comment out any call to
procmail and simply forward to host.crosswire.org

ssh scribe at guest.crosswire.org

[scribe at www ~]$ cat .forward
scribe at host.crosswire.org
#|/usr/bin/procmail

Then you should be able to setup your imap client to point to
host.crosswire.org and get your mail.  Once we figure out how to get all
the mailman stuff working on host, we can remap mail.crosswire.org to
point to our host.crosswire.org machine instead of guest.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions or if you haven't
received an account on host yet.

Troy
