[osis-users] Representing non-original readings in OSIS (i.e. square-bracketed sections)

I realized that there doesn't seem to be a way to represent subordinate
readings inline with the scriptural text. For example, the pericope of the
woman caught in adultery in John 8 and the ending of Mark are both usually
encapsulated in single square brackets or double square brackets, to
indicate their judged originality. How would this be marked up? The <rdg>
element? In the schema, looks like the <rdg> element is allowed inside of
paragraphs and inside of notes. What if the reading itself contains
paragraphs?

Likewise, for Mark 16, there are two alternate endings: one long and one
short. Can a <rdgGroup> be used in which there two <rdg> elements containing
all of the markup for the two alternate endings? Would Would would the
'type' attribute value be for representing content deemed not original?
