Troy,

Since the "title" is actually a verse, wouldn't it make as much sense to 
do the Psalm as:

Psalm 34
<verse  id="KJV.Ps.24.0" type="title">

and that gives you a mapping to verses in the Hebrew as well as the 
transChange element?

You can key on the type to get the "title" like display that you want.

Just because the typesetter set it as a title does not mean that it is a 
title (structurally speaking).

Does not answer your question about titles generally, but titles are 
usually imposed and hence not subject to transChange. In other words, if 
I am giving something a title, one assumes I can give it whatever title 
I want, why would I need transChange?
