[osis-core] OSIS work regex

As a convention "_" is usually the alternative to mixed case
(globalAttributes vs global_attributes), while "." is usually for
delimiting unique parts (www.yahoo.com vs www_yahoo_com).

I like "." as a delimiter much better than "_".  It is also more likely
to have an "_" in a name than a ".".
