Quick personal update:
I'm still catching up with the list traffic.  Every time I get close, 
there seems to come a storm of new messages.  I'm in the midst of finals 
this week (or what passes for them).  But I will spend a good deal of time 
this weekend (which for me lasts through Tuesday) getting familiarized 
with the latest candidate & converting the old texts I'd done to the new 
schema.
