Change SG to U files (Troy to give Rachel a programme to do this, Rachel to do)
Bill's transcriptions: do te2bb conversion (to fix line breaks) where necessary (Troy to fix code so that files aren't renamed with _in progress at end, Rachel to do)
Transcriptions without layout: Add layout: Folio numbers, column numbers and insert line returns (Rachel and Bruce). Troy to write programme to add |L| to each new line EXCEPT lines beginning with | (pipe) and lines within the first set of curly brackets { } (Edited on 12.01.2012 to add: Unless the situation with Ali's transcriptions throws a spanner into the works, we don't need to add layout to any of the transcriptions currently listed as going in the Edition)
-	Commentary MSS: change variations on [K] [/K] to {comm} and record {comm} for each line of commentary. Remove >> to denote biblical text where necessary. (Rachel and Bruce)
+	Commentary MSS: change variations on [K] [\K] to {comm} and record {comm} for each line of commentary. Remove >> to denote biblical text where necessary. (Rachel and Bruce) See Excel spreadsheet 'Commentaries in Edition (09.01.2012)' for list of commentary MSS that require multiple {comm} tags added and who has done them. To do this, I converted the BBEdit files into Word to give to transcribers who did the work, then I converted them back to BBEdit and replaced the older versions of the files with the new versions.

Need to add that &om; should also be excepted. And [K] [\K] with Kappas should be replaced with Latin Ks.)

Rachel and Bruce to rerun programme to confirm that all differences have been reconciled and when files match change _L1 to _L2
+
+(Edited on 24.05.12 to add: this plan has changed completely and we are now working with Cat's reconciler which has a different system. It is REALLY IMPORTANT to standardise the structural differences between two files. If you don't, you can miss the difference between lacunose text in curly brackets and a verse regarded as omitted, e.g. <V 21> {om}, because even if you are doing a reconciliation and asking to see the {om} tags, an {om} tag that appears after a verse block marker if the verse block marker isn't present in the other file will NOT show up.)
