I have added most of this to bugs.txt, when it was not already in there
in one form or another.<br>
I thought I'd comment on some of it. (I deleted the rest)<br>

I have attached bugs.txt after incorporating Eric's suggestions. I have
placed most of it before the 0.9.9 release, but some of it probably
should be post 1.0. (to prevent creeping featurism. Joe, I'll defer to

Yes, but JSword is slated to support them sometime after 1.0. To do it

Given the way the GUI is layed out this is fairly difficult. A Passage
either is a verse or starts at one verse and continues to another. The
text entry box for the passage actually is for a list of passages. If
you did a search on Adam, it would return such a passage list. I am not
sure how this should be displayed in a commentary.<br>

That's a bug. It should show the list of words. Clicking on one should
show its definition.<br>

I think it is difficult to do the footnote placement as suggested in
HTML and keep the text flowing. We could do it if we did, verses
starting on separate lines. We could make it an option. BTW, it is
simple.xsl that does the transformation.<br>

I am not sure what you mean by forward and back. In the text we have
footnote markers and in the notes we have the corresponding verse
marker. These are a kind of forward and back button. Were you asking
for a previous/next footnote button?<br>

If you can supply us with a better font for a default for Metal, let us

You can change the font on the options page. I think it requires
restart.<br>

It works, but it needs some help. When you click on a link it does a
lookup in the currently selected dictionary. You need to select the
correct strongs dictionary after downloading it. There are two things
that we need to do. Disable the display of Strong's links when the
corresponding dictionary is not installed. And when the link is clicked
on, switch to that book.<br>

You can set the number of verses per tab very high and then you will

Its going to get even better. Currently, it does exact text match.
Accented characters pose a problem. In unicode, they can be represented
as a normal character followed by the accent. The system is supposed to
be smart enough to display them combined. After releasing 1.0, I am
going to tackle normalization of accented text such that the search
request and the index are built the same. I am also considering
allowing some form of transliterated searching "uios" "soterios", ...
and get hits on the actual greek. Same for Hebrew and other languages.<br>

Search allows for full boolean capabilites. Search finds similar
verses. Search is used when you can't exactly remember the how a verse
goes, but you are pretty sure of part of it.<br>
