[jsword-devel] Can't run JSword on Windows XP platform

Greetings,

I'm wondering if someone could help me get Jsword running, please.

I am running the Windows version of Sword, and would like to be able to try
JSword for a cross-platform project I have in mind in future, so I
downloaded jsword-0.9.5-bin.zip and unzipped it.  The documentation download
is HUGE, so I didn't try that via our limited internet connection here in
Papua New Guinea.

The windows batch file appears in windows as all one line (saved from a
Linux system by my guess) so I broke it into lines.

Still didn't work, so I made one based on the Linux startup script.  This
produced the JSword splash screen but went no further.

Is there a JSword howto file for the windows platform you could point me to,
please.
