Martin,

The "FATAL" message is from main.cpp line 252 after it tries to 
"initializeDirectoryCache()". The need to instantiate QApplication 
should have been done by BibleTimeApp at line 212. Looking at the code I 
don't see how our code is incorrect.

My thought is that something did not go right in the switch from Qt 5.5 
to 5.6.1. I would check the CMakeCache.txt to ensure only Qt 5.6.1 paths 
are in it. I would make sure a clean build of BibleTime was done. Beyond 
that I am not sure what to do.
